Gratitude in the Form of Mangoes
Feeling grateful and fulfilled when a patient surprised me with a gift of mangoes and a bottle of Sambal after a cataract surgery.
Mangoes are a treasure trove of health benefits! They’re packed with beta-carotene antioxidants and Vitamin A, which can do wonders when our nutrient levels are on point:
Antioxidants: Lower risk of age-related eye disorders like cataracts and maculopathy.
Vitamin A: Prevent night blindness (Nyctalopia)
Vitamin C: Keep cataracts at bay.
Beta-Carotene: Decreases wrinkles around the face.
Grateful for this thoughtful gesture and the reminder of how valuable every connection can be. #gratitude#mangomango#MangoMagic#healthytips
